Do you think Chinese bikes have crossed the perception rubicon with Overseas buyers?

Yes, I think so. A few years ago, buying a bike made in China could have problems with registration and insurance, build quality, access to spare parts and service support. But things are different now. While Chinese bikes have received negative press in the past, this is usually because the importer didn't bring the right product, or didn't do enough homework, or didn't have a large enough network to support customers.

The quality of bikes made in China has improved significantly. Remember, it's not just Chinese-branded bikes that are made in China; for example, Yamaha's YBR125, some Piaggio and Peugeot models, some Harley-Davidson parts, and Kawasaki and BMW's engines are all made in China.

Now, consumers have their own opinions on Chinese products and vote with their wallets. Now electric scooter and motorcycle is replacing the traditional gasoline one. So it’s a good time to import ebike from China and build your local network, go beyond your competitor!
